Frequently Asked Questions
What may I expect from the services?
At CalvaryPHX, we believe the Bible is the divinely-inspired Word of God. Our pastors provide expository teaching, verse-by-verse, discussing theological-interpretation and life-application.
Services begin with live worship and announcements, followed by the message, and sometimes close in a time of communion.
What is the worship music like?
All main services feature worship with a live band. Our teams mainly lead the congregation in contemporary worship, but we do love the occasional hymn.
Do you offer services in other languages?
Yes! All of our services include a live Spanish interpreter through a hearing device. Simply ask an usher. We also have a Korean Service on Sundays, 9:00am at the Central Campus in the Chapel.
Do you have a Parents' Room or Nursing Room?
Yes, we offer both at each campus. Just ask someone for directions!
The Parents' Room is designed for families with children who may want to talk, cry or play while you watch service.
The Nursing Mother's Room is intended for women who may want privacy while feeding their infant during a service.
Do you take communion?
We offer communion typically during our Wednesday night services, and also during weekend services on the 1st Sunday of the month. There is no requirement or obligation to join, however we do ask that you participate only if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior.
What should I wear?
Come as you are! Casual attire is the most common, although you may see a nice dress or a suit from time-to-time!
Do you have classes or groups I can join?
Absolutely! We have many classes and groups who meet regularly on and off campus. Search Groups to learn more!
Do I need to give any money at services?
Not a penny! We do believe giving is Biblical and that it is an act of worship. But as our guest, we ask you to pass on the offering plate and allow us to serve you. We even have a gift for all first-time guests at the Connect Center!
