EQUIP by definitions means “to provide someone with what is needed to fulfill their purpose.” In reading God’s Word, we come to understand that God’s purpose for our lives is to know Him and enjoy Him, and witness to others so that they may also know and enjoy Him.
To fulfill your purpose, it’s important you read and understand God’s Word. To help deepen your understanding, it may be helpful to supplement weekly services at CalvaryPHX with a daily devotional, as well as attend a Bible Study or group.
ENGAGE by definition means “to attract and keep interest, to participate, occupy or become involved.” Matthew 5 tells us that we represent the light and we have a responsibility to share it. This may play out differently in your various spheres of influence. Some people may desire to hear your testimony, but others may first need to see tangible offerings of God’s love.
