The Living Bible - 1

J. Mark Martin / May 24, 2011

Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 2:9-12

Are you confident enough in your Christian faith to tell people to follow your example? Before you answer think about this. Whose example are you following? Is it someone else’s? Or is it Jesus’ example? Hi! And welcome to the Tuesday edition of grace upon grace! Today on the program Pastor Mark continues his study in 1 Thessalonians with a message about leading by example. In this lesson, we’ll see how the apostle Paul encouraged the church in Thessalonica to follow his lead and to model his behavior. But who did Paul look to as an example for faithful living? Was he that confident in his own leadership skills? Or was he simply imitating the greatest leader of all time? Jesus Christ. Well, let’s find out more as we join Pastor Mark in first Thessalonians chapter two for a message entitled the living bible.
