Usery Park - Mesa, Arizona - Fellowship Adventures Hike
Join us at Usery Regional Mountain Park just off the 202 in east Mesa. With nearly 4,000 acres set at the western end of the Goldfield Mountains, this park is one of the prettiest parks around. If you love gazing at the mighty saguaro cacti, you must come on this hike. Usery Regional Mountain Park offers spectacular views in all directions. You will experience the mighty Superstition Mountains to the east and the beautiful San Tans to the south. The park is located about an 1 hour from Calvary. It is worth the drive. Check out the park at Usery Regional Mountain Park.

This hike will include 4 levels of hiking. (Geckos, please read the special note below.) You will sign up for a level when registering. The levels are listed below, or see levels of difficulty for more details. Remember to bring lots of water. Although the weather is cooler and more refreshing, you will still need to stay hydrated.
Roadrunners – For the serious, go-fast hiker who desires the challenge of speed and distance (7 to 10 miles) and prefers to race past the sagebrush rather than smell it!
Coyotes – For the recreational hiker who desires energetic physical activity (4 to 7 miles) and the opportunity to stop and smell the sagebrush.
Prairie Dogs – For the casual hiker and families who want to get some exercise (about 3 miles) but stop to enjoy the view and rest as they hike.
Geckos – For the person or family new to hiking or just coming back from a long time away. This month's trail, approximately 2 miles in length, is quite rocky with uneven terrain, so hiking sticks are recommended.
Children are more than welcome to join this event, but please read the Children section of the "Things to Know" page before you come.
