Where - Approx. 20 miles North of Globe, Arizona

When - 2:00 PM Thursday, October 6th - through 11:00 AM Monday, October 10th

Location - Timber Camp Recreation Area, Brundrett 2 Group Campground (Google maps link)

Travel time - Approx. 2 1/2 hours from Central Campus

Camping fee - $20 per night/family




This campground is located within the Timber Camp Mountains and surrounded by a ponderosa pine and juniper woodland. Five miles east of the site, the area eventually meets the ledges and beautiful vistas of the Salt River Canyon and the Salt River Canyon Wilderness. The weather is ideal in the fall and spring. The campground is at an elevation of 6,000 ft.


The campground will be open from 2:00 PM on Thursday through 11:00 AM on Monday. Join us Friday and Saturday nights for worship around the campfire.  


Take I-17 south and watch for signs to US 60 E. Follow US 60 East to Timber Camp Recreation Area. Click here for Google maps linkLook for Fellowship Adventures signs.

Please check in with the Event Coordinator when you arrive for your site assignment. 

Campers must pre-register.  Group campground space is limited to 50 people.  During registration, you may register for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday night(s) and that will accommodate 1 tent and/or 1 trailer/motorhome. 

Campers will be responsible for their own food and water. Eating in the common area is encouraged.  Some campers join together for food preparation, but regardless of how you plan your meals, everyone is always welcome to eat with the whole group.


This event DOES NOT have an organized hike. Normally, someone will organize an informal hike sometime during the weekend.


Children are more than welcome to join this event, but please read the Children section of the "Things to Know" page before you come. 


Dogs are welcome if they are well-behaved.  Park regulations require dogs to be kept on a leash at all times. Please read the Pets section of the "Things to Know" page.
