Lake Pleasant - Fellowship Adventures Camping Event

Apr 08

2:00 pm

Apr 11

11:00 am

Event Description:

Join us for the first camping event of the year at Lake Pleasant. Whether you are in your tent, the back of your SUV, or in your 40' RV, the fun and fellowship will be the same. While some people will take to the surrounding trails to stretch their legs, there will be no organized hikes, just a time to relax, play a game or two, and s'mores and worship around the campfire. Oh, and we hear there are fish in the lake just waiting for you (license required).

No registration required...just show up!

Park fees

All fees will be paid when you enter the park. Just tell them you are with Calvary at the Coyote Section of the Desert Tortoise Group Campground.

  • Day use only:  $7 per vehicle
  • Camping:  $22 per unit per night. A "unit" includes a vehicle with a tent or one towed trailer. Up to 8 people allowed as one unit.
  • Extra vehicles:  $5 per vehicle

The group campsite will accommodate trailers up to 45 feet (no hook-ups). The campground has toilets, potable water, and showers.  The group site has lots of room for vehicles and tents.

Campers will be responsible for their own camping gear and food. Fellowship Adventures will provide a community kitchen equipped with a propane stove, charcoal grill, and lots of cowboy coffee. If you are comfortable doing so, you may want to coordinate your meals with other campers, but there will be no "group meals" as we have done in the past.

Children are more than welcome to join this event, but please read the Children section of the "Things to Know" page before you come.

Dogs are welcome.  Remember to consider the heat before bringing Fido and please read the Pets section of the "Things to Know" page.
